El quinto, contracorriente

Después del último, dedicado a la Navidad y que volverá a su debido tiempo, llega el quinto blog a la red, que ya iba siendo hora. Llevaba ya meses asombrado de ver tantos y tantos blogs sobre Apple, que sólo tiene una pequeña parte del mercado, y ninguno dedicado a una empresa más grande como era Microsoft (y estoy escribiendo esto desde OS X, paradojas de la vida).

Así que el pasado 18 de septiembre registré MicrosBlog con la intención de montar algo allí. Curiosamente el proyecto se ha retrasado y ve la luz hoy, y durante este tiempo han aparecido 80 blogs más dedicados a Apple y ninguno a Microsoft. En cambio, y a riesgo de ir contracorriente, creo que Microsoft tiene mucho que contar: hay un nuevo Windows a la vista, Live ofrece cada día alguna nueva aplicación, más de 10 millones de personas en todo el mundo se han comprado una Xbox 360 y casi todo el mundo, ya sea desde Windows o OS X, usa la suite de Office (aunque no sea "cool"). Además no es incompatible con Mac (Microsoft tiene una división de desarrollo para Mac de la que también informaremos).

Bajo esas premisas nace el blog, con otra que creo que es muy importante: intentar encontrar el sentido común en la línea editorial. Como digo estoy usando OS X y soy usuario de Apple (también de Windows), aunque no encuentro lógico que muchos de los bloggeros dedicados a informar de la manzana tengan una actitud similar a un grupo de fans quinceañeras de David Bisbal. Muchas entradas más que información, ofrecen adoración a Apple hasta el punto de parar la rotativas cada vez que la Apple Store cierra un minuto para actualizar contenidos o a Steve Jobs le sale un grano en la cara (Peor es el caso de la "prensa" especializada que aplaudía a Jobs en la Keynote cada vez que pronunciaba una palabra, ni en un concierto de los Backstreet Boys pasaba eso). Por eso, en Microsblog, también habrá (y ya hay) críticas. A ver si hay suerte y el público responde :-)
